The name of this blog, “My Stray Dog Freedom,” is taken from the song “Gold Mine Gutted” from the album Digital Ash in a Digital Urn by Bright Eyes, which is fronted by singer/songwriter Conor Oberst. I would comment further on my choice of titles, but I think it's self-explanatory.
Incidentally, Conor must have liked this line, because he recently wrote another song called “Stray Dog Freedom” which he released on his Four Winds EP. But that song isn't very good. So let's just assume my title is taken from “Gold Mine Gutted”, ok?
